I love this, it's used every day and night. The kids love the dimmed warm light as a night light in the bathroom. It's a perfect size over our sink and looks so much more expensive than it's worth. Nice and light for hanging but great quality all round. The mirror gets foggy while showering but when I add the heated function it dissappear quick.
This mirror replaces an older wired mirror; it's a great looking upgrade to our bathroom with a lot of pro's:
The Pros:
1. The fixing brackets are fantastic 'French cleat' design - basically 2 hooked bars that fit together very easily, and also allow some left/right adjustment to the mirror once it's mounted.
2. Mounting the mirror was very simple due to the French cleats and the sensible wiring layout at the back - so many wired mirrors don't allow room for cables in the cavity behind the mirror so this is really helpful in getting the mirror flush to the wall when mounting it.
3. The quality of the glass looks good and the lighting is bright enough and adjustable both in colour temperature and brightness
4. The mirror provides 2 buttons crucially separating the heating function from the light function. This is essential if you wish to use the light as a night light for kids without leaving the heating element active all night, and so many other competitors do not do this for some reason!
Cons:
1. The lighting may not be ideal for some as it comes from the sides of the mirror and not the front. So for those looking for something for makeup you might want to go for something with forward facing lighting.
